Angelears TFZ Athena Edition Dynamic Driver IEM

The Athena in-ear monitors, a collaboration between TFZ and Angelears, build upon the legacy of TFZ’s Megami series. Featuring a 10mm beryllium-plated dynamic driver and a dual-chamber acoustic structure, they deliver a frequency response of 5Hz–40kHz with low distortion (<0.05% THD) and rapid transient response (<3ms). N52 neodymium magnets enhance detail retrieval, while the single-driver design ensures phase coherence and midrange clarity.

Developed through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and iterative tuning, the Athena optimizes wave interactions and damping effects. High sensitivity (105dB/mW) ensures broad source compatibility, and CNC-machined resin faceplates provide durability and visual consistency. Limited to 500 units per colorway.

The Athena offers a technically refined, single-driver tuning with strong bass control and extended treble. Its measured performance aligns with similarly priced competitors, prioritizing clarity and transient speed over exaggerated staging or coloration.
